Bandipora: 4 year old Boy ‘Severely’ Wounded In Leopard Attack

Srinagar, Jul 15: A 4-year-old boy was ‘severely’ wounded after being attacked by a leopard in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday evening.

Reports said that the boy, Arhan Shabir son of Shabir Ahmad Rather, was attacked by the leopard near his home at Dodhwan SK Bala in Ajas area of the district this evening.The family raised alarm following which the locals rushed to the spot and chased away the leopard.

The minor boy however sustained severe wounds in his back and was immediately removed to a health facility at Hajin. Later the doctors referred him to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile a police official confirming the incident  said that the child has received ‘severe wounds’ on his back. The boy is currently under treatment at SMHS Hospital. gns
