Jammu: Four residential structures were damaged in day long shelling in Nowshera village located near Line of Control (LoC).

Officials told a local news agency that the cross border firing and shelling started on Friday morning at around 10 am and continued till 3 pm this afternoon.

The officials said that four houses including three in Bhawani and one in Makri village were damaged while as one animal was also killed after a mortar shell landed in the village.

They said that intermittent shelling is going on in the area. (KNO)
