Twin blasts rock Afghanistan's intelligence agency facility, three security forces killed

Kabul:  The facility of Afghanistan’s intelligence agency National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Friday was rocked with twin explosions that resulted in killing of three security member and wounding other two.

The explosion took place in NDS facility when the security personnel were trying to diffuse an improvise explosive device (IED).

The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on twitter said that three security force members were killed and two others were wounded in an explosion that happened during defusing of an IED in #Herat province.

Herat province Governor’s spokesman confirmed that an explosion has happened near an NDS facility in the province.

Tolo news twitter in a tweet said ” Sources confirmed that the explosion near an NDS facility in Herat happened after an NDS demining team wanted to defuse an IED embedded to a vehicle. Three security force members were killed and two others were wounded in the explosion, sources said.

Twin blasts reported near an NDS facility in #Herat. Eyewitnesses have reported casualties.
