Srinagar: The educated un-employed youth of Kashmir valley Monday held a protest demonstration in Srinagar against State Administration Council’s (SAC) decision to adjust Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers against regular posts.
Scores of educated un-employment youths from various districts of Kashmir valley assembled in press enclave and while chanting slogans against the administration held placards and banners “We want Justice”, “SAC decision injustice to educated youth” and “Revoke SAC decision save our future”.
Ayaz Mukhytar, One of the protesting youth from Hajin area of Bandipora district in north Kashmir said: “We are protesting against the recent decision of SAC stating that the government will adjust ReT teachers through out the state which is total injustice with unemployed educated youth of the state.”
He said that decision will effect the educated youths, who are much qualified that those who have been engaged as ReT’s.
The protesters requested Governor Satya Pal Malik to look into the matter and revoke the order.
