Srinagar: S P Vaid, who was recently removed as Director General Police and appointed as Transport Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir, has joined his new place of posting and proceeded on for one month’s leave.

S P Vaid told a news gathering agency:  “I have joined new place of posting as Transport Commissioner J&K but have applied for one month’s leave. I don’t know whether the leave has been sanctioned or not.”
