Srinagar: A minor has been injured in Kokernag as the gunfight between militants and government forces rages in Gadole area.

According to District Hospital Anantnag officials a boy Identified as Yawar ahmad chopan 15 received bullet injury in head.

Reports said that the clashes have erupted in the area and it was not immediately known as to how the boy got hit with a bullet.

“Was he near encounter site or was he injured in clashes is not known yet,” a doctor treating him said.

Gunfight between militants and forces is going in the Gadole area.

In the mean time forces have been deployed in Anantnag town
