Police reveals names of four accused in Shujaat Bukhari’s murder case

Srinagar: Days after journalist Shujaat Bukhari’s killing in Srinagar, police has revealed names of four accused involved in his brutal murder.

One of the killers is Pakistani and a Lashkar-e-Taiba militant, while the other two are locals from south Kashmir, police said.

Shujaat Bukhari, the editor of Rising Kashmir, was shot dead on June 14 when he left his office.

The picture of alleged attackers were seen on CCTV camera, their faces hidden either by masks or a helmet.

The man in the middle appeared to be carrying a sack full of weapons, the police said.

According to police chief  IG Pani, the conspiracy was hatched in pakistan and executed in kashmir.

The police said fourth accused is Sajad Gul, a sringnarite currently based in Pakistan, accused of running a blog that had spread controversial information about Bukhari.

Azad malik, a resident of anatnag and operative of lashkar, Muzafar Bhat and Navid Jat.
