Srinagar: Voice of Victims, on Friday condemned the gruesome killing of Shujaat Bukhari by unknown gunmen on Thursday evening at Press enclave in Srinagar. 

In a statement issued to media, Executive Director Voice of Victims Abdul Qadeer Dar condemned the killing and called it against the moral and human ethics to kill a person.

He also termed the killing as worst  kind of human rights voilation. 

“Deeply saddened and shocked by the tragic news of an erudite intellectual and fearless journalist of Kashmir,” he said.

He added that his death is a huge loss to the society.

Qadeer said that my heartfelt condolences are to his bereaved family. 

While calling for an international probe into the killing, Qadeer  expressing sympathies and solidarity with breaved family. He appealed international communities to  protect the region from more bloodshed.
