Muzaffarabad: Al-Umer Mujahideen, a pro-Pakistan militant outfit, has rejected Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s call for a unilateral Ramzan ceasefire, saying that “our fight against Delhi’s rule will continue until Kashmir attains independence”.

In a telephonic conversation to a local news-gathering agency, Al-Umer Mujahideen’s patron Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar on Monday alleged that India was using different tactics to permanently settle its army in the Kashmir Valley with the aim “to kill innocent people”.

Rejecting the ceasefire offer, militant commander Zargar claimed that “we will throw Indian army out from Kashmir very soon”.

Al-Umer also took a dig at Nawaz Sharif alleging that Pakistan’s former premier has “joined hands with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is behind killing of hundreds of Kashmiris”.
