Rajouri, Aug 09 (KNO): The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of Army and Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday destroyed an explosive material that was found lying in Hattan Seri village of Manjakote tehsil in Rajouri.

Officials  said that a suspected material was found lying in stones at Hattan Seri village of Manjakote in Rajouri following which the area was cordoned off and the joint teams of army and police carried out searches.

During searches, the officials said, the suspected explosive material—Chinese grenade was found. The material was exploded using a controlled mechanism, they said, adding that further investigation into the matter is going on.kno
