Awantipora July 16: Government forces in a joint operation has busted a militants hideout and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition in Awantipora. 

According to a statement, based on the credible input, a joint team of Awantipora Police, Army 42 RR and CRPF 180 BN launched a search in the Nawdal Tral area.

During search operation incriminating material and huge cache of explosive material and ammunition have been recovered which was kept hidden underground by the militants which include: 1) 51MM Motor Bombs: 07: 2) PIKA Rounds: 260

Consequent upon this case FIR No 87/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Tral.  Investigation  taken up. kns
