Kupwara, Apr 20: Authorities in Sogam of this north-Kashmir’s district has sealed at least twenty coaching centres on violation of SOPs amid ongoing Covid onslaught.

An official said that the coaching centres were closed by a team led by Naib-Tehsildar Sogam on the directions passed by SDM Lolab Aijaz Ahmad.

“The closed down institutes were found in blatant violation to the recent orders by the government into closure of all sorts of physical classwork in schools and coaching centres” the official said.

Meanwhile SDM concerned has reiterated his appeal asking the public to strictly adhere to Covid protocols to combat the rampant spread of the infection. gns
