Militants hurl grenade at BJP panch’s residence in Tral, no loss of life reported

Srinagar, Aug 10: Suspected militants on Monday made an abortive bid to target with grenade the residence of a BJP Panch in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources told GNS that the militants hurled a grenade on house of the panch Bupinder Singh.

The device exploded outside his house without causing any harm to life or property, they said.

A police officer confirmed the attack said that investigations have been started into the incident. “There was no damage to either life or properly,” the officer added. (GNS)
