Poonch, June 23: The government forces on Tuesday busted a militant hideout in Marha village in Surankote area of Poonch district, officials said.

Police said that a joint team of Police and Army Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a search operation in Upper Marha village area of Surankote in Poonch district.

“A militant hideout in upper reaches of Marha village has been busted by forces,” police said, adding that one Universal Machine Gun and 222 cartridges have been recovered in the hideout of militants.
