Srinagar: One more person has tested positive for covid-19 in Rainawari area of Srinagar here on Saturday taking total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 640.

Taking on to the twitter Mayor of Srinagar Junaid Matto wrote “A sudden spurt in cases – all new positive cases in Rainawari are contact cases of elderly patient who passed away a few days back. Another case in Narwara has come in clandestinely and not disclosed his arrival. TRAGIC! SMC focusing on Narwara, Rainawari, Bemina, Solina today.”

In another tweet he wrote “Another positive case that of an allied/administrative staff employee from a hospital. Thankfully was off duty since two weeks and under home quarantine after showing respiratory symptoms. Tested negative previously. Re-tested and now positive. Shows – need to remain vigilant!”
