Srinagar: Two militants were killed and also one army man injured in brief exchange of firing in Guddar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday evening.

Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar told a news agency that in brief shootout two militants were killed and also one army solidier recieved bullet wound in leg. The operation was still on in the area, the IGP said.

Official sources also told that this operation was jointly carried out by Police and 9RR.

The identity of the militants is yet to be ascertained. (GNS)
