Armies of India and Pakistan trade gunfire along LoC in Poonch

Srinagar: The armies of India and Pakistan on Thursday exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Qasba Kirni sector of this frontier district of Jammu division.

Army officials said that Pakistan army used mortars shelling and small arms in the sector at 10 A.M.

“The army responded strongly,” they added. The shelling created a scare among the locals especially school children.

There were no reports about casualty to any person on either side so far.
