Noorbagh civilian’s killing a planned murder: Jama’at

Srinagar: Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir on Friday expressed ‘grave concern and resentment’ over the ‘killing spree’ going on in the valley at the hands of the government forces and asked the international and local human rights organizations to take serious note of the “state-sponsored barbarity”

In a statement, the Jama’at said that in Noorbagh Srinagar, a young person was killed by “unruly forces” without any apparent cause or legal justification. “The killing of Muhammad Saleem Malik is simply a well planned murder committed by those who are legally bound to safeguard the human lives.”

Jama’at paid tributes to the victims of “state highhandedness” and extended sympathy with the families of those who have been made to suffer for life without any fault.

Jama’at also demanded impartial probe into the “unjustified killing” of Mohammad Saleem Malik by the “merciless” government forces and stern punishment to the culprits.
