Civilian killing: Cluster University Kashmir reschedules PG entrance exams

Srinagar: The Cluster University of Kashmir on Thursday rescheduled the examinations scheduled for Thursday.

A spokesperson of the university said that the Post Graduate (PG) entrance examination has been postponed to Saturday while the examination for Integrated Courses has been postponed for Monday.

Pertinently protests have erupted at many places in Kashmir including the two varsities Kashmir University and the Islamic University of Science and Technology against the civilian killing in Srinagar.

The civilian identified as Muhammad Saleem Malik was killed by government forces during a cordon and search operation in Noorbagh area of Srinagar city.

The slain civilian was laid to rest at martyrs graveyard amid massive anti-India and pro-freedom sloganeering. reports said that thousands of people participated in the funeral praters of the slain civilian.
