Srinagar: The armies of India and Pakistan on Tuesday exchanged heavy fire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports quoting defence sources said that the Pakistan Army “resorted to unprovoked firing” at Indian positions in Gulpur area at around 1 a.m.

“Firing exchanges continued till 3.30 am. No casualty or damage was reported on our side,” the sources added.
