Ahead of strike call, train services suspended in Kashmir

Srinagar: Ahead of strike call by Joint Resistance Leadership against the shifting of Dukhtar-e-Milat (DeM) chief Asiya Andrabi and her two associates by National Security Agency (NSA) to New Delhi, train service was suspended on Saturday in the Kashmir in valley.

Official sources said that no train will run today in valley.

Train will also remain suspend on Sunday in view of shutdown call by JRL on the second death anniversary of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) commander Burhan Wani.

He was killed in an encounter in Anantnag district in 2016, which later led to massive protests during which about over 90 people died in government force action.
