Srinagar: The district administration Budgam on Monday said that the class work of all schools lying within the vicinity of municipal area of Magam shall remain suspended today.

However, the school administration and teaching staff shall remain present during office hours in their respective educational institutions.

This has been decided after the dispute between two sects of Shia community turned violent.

The two factions clashed with each other on Saturday night in which scores were injured.

Following the clashes, authorities imposed restrictions under section 144 in area on second consecutive day.
