Tral returns to normalcy after four-day consecutive shutdown

Srinagar: Life returned to normal on Sunday after four days of consecutive strike and restrictions in south Kashmir’s Tral  area of Pulwama district.

Shops and business establishments opened across the district after four days. Both private and public transport plied normally.

Earlier, on Tuesday Three militants were killed during a gun battle with government forces at Nazneenpora hamlet. Two of the killed militants belonged to Tral.

A complete shutdown was observed for four days to mourn the killing of two local militants.
