Srinagar: The State Haj Committee, J&K conducted 2nd phase training for the selected Haj pilgrims of Leh district here today.
During the training representative of State Haj Committee and Haj Committee of India imparted practical training in detail about their Haj visit with thorough information about dos and don’ts during their pilgrimage.
Representative also briefed them about important documents and luggage to be carried along.
He urged them to strictly adhere to the instructions given to them to follow during the Haj to make it successful, meaningful and most importantly to ensure their safety and security.
Later, DC Leh Avny Lavasa congratulated all the selected Haj pilgrims.
She said that going on Haj pilgrimage is a great opportunity for them not just for religious purpose but also to visit new countries and places, interact with different people and experience a different culture.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh Moses Kunzang was also present on the occasion.
