Nocturnal clashes in Pulwama village after forces ‘pull down’ posters of militant commander Sameer Tiger

Nocturnal clashes rock South Kashmir’s Pulwama village after government forces ‘pull down’ posters of militant commander Sameer Tiger during night hours.

Sources said that the forces had cordoned the village in late hours on Thursday in Drubgam (native village) of militant commander Sameer Tiger and take down his posters.

Following the pulling down of his posters, the people came out on streets and held protests against the forces’ act.

Pertinantly, Sameer Tiger and his associate Aqib Mushtaq were killed in an encounter with government forces on Monday in Drubgam (native village) of Sameer Tiger.
