Srinagar police chief holds security meet ahead of Muharram

Srinagar, July 29: With just over 11 days left for Youm-e-Ashura or 10th Muharram, the Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Balwal, (SSP) Srinagar chairs meeting of all SPs and DySPs of Srinagar district in regards security and other arrangements ahead of the holy month of muharram.

Srinagar police informed that SSP Srinagar took meeting of all SPs and DySPs of Srinagar district in regards security and other arrangements ahead of the holy month of muharram.

 

Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir administration has decided to allow the Muharram procession in the valley only on permitted routes, which have been already notified by them.
