Srinagar, June 15: The Income Tax department on Wednesday raided the residence of a luxury hotel owner in Nishat area of summer capital Srinagar.

Sources said that sleuths of the income tax department raided the residence of Feroz Ahmad Sheikh and Khalid Sheikh, both sons of Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh, who are said to be the owners of Hotel Hilton Pahalgam.

The residence at Deewan colony Nishat is being searched by the tax officials, sources said adding there is no NIA raid at their residence as reported by some media outlets. (KDC)
