Militant attack in Central Kashmir’s Chadoora leaves one non-local dead, another injured

Srinagar, June 2: In yet another attack, a non local was killed while another sustained injured after they were fired upon by the militants in Central Kashmir’s Chadoora area late Thursday evening. 

A senior Police officer said that two non-locals were fired upon by militants this evening in Magraypora, Chadoora.

One has bullet wound in hand and other has received in shoulder. Both are stated to be stable, the officer said.

Both were immediately shifted to nearby hospital for treatment, the officer added.

However, one among the two non-locals succumbed to the injuries at a hospital here.

Medical Superintendent SMHS hospital Dr. Kanwaljeet Singh confirmed that one among the non-locals succumbed to the injuries.

Sources identified the deceased as Dilkhush of Bihar, who was working as a labourer at Brick Kiln.

Soon after the attack whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
