T20-Semifinal: Cricketer Waseem Kachroo’s brother dies of heart attack after Aussies beat Pakistan

Budgam, Nov 12: A 36-year-old man died of heart attack in Kawoosa Khalisa area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district after Pakistan lost to Australia in a nail-biting semi-final of the T20 World Cup on Thursday.

Reports said that the man identified as Reyaz Ahmad suffered cardiac arrest after Pakistan lost to Australia in the semi-final in Dubai.

They said that the deceased is the brother of well-known cricketer of the Valley, Waseem Kachroo.

Meanwhile, family members of the deceased said that Reyaz suffered cardiac arrest at home and was immediately shifted to Jehlum Valley Medical College Bemina, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Notably, Australia beat Pakistan by 5 wickets with an over to spare in the nail-biting finish of 2nd semi-final of T20 World Cup, while chasing a target of 177 runs. kns
