CRPF trooper injured as militants lob grenade on forces in Handwara

Srinagar, August 16: A paramilitary trooper of CRPF was injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade towards government forces in Langate area of North Kashmir’s Handwara on Monday.

Confirming the incident a police officer said that militants lobbed a grenade on E-07 CRPF.

In this incident a CRPF trooper recieved minor splinter injuries. He has been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile area been cordoned off to nab the attackers. gns
