Baramulla, Jul 19: A 55-year-old man was left with critical wounds after attacked by a bear in Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday afternoon.

Reports said that one Bashir Ahmad (55) son of Faqeer Ahmad Mugal, a resident of Choulan Uri was attacked by a bear while at Baddi Behak forest area. The elderly man suffered critical wounds in the incident and was taken to PHC Mohura from where the doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.

A police official has confirmed the incident and said that the wounded person was immediately taken for treatment. gns
