SRINAGAR, JULY 07: The Government on Wednesday informed that 280 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 131 from Jammu division and 149 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 317761. Also 04 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 03 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 419 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 197 from Jammu Division and 222 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 90.78 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that No confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 30 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 317761 positive cases, 3439 are Active Positive, 309973 have recovered and 4349 have died; 2123 in Jammu division and 2226 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 10379791 test results available, 10062030 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 2505718 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8754 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 3439 in isolation and 253999 in home surveillance. Besides, 2235177 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 70457 positive cases (including 49 cases reported today) with 673 Active Positive, 68954 recovered (including 673 cases recovered today), 830 deaths; Baramulla has 23346 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 224 Active Positive, 22842 recovered (including 10 cases recovered today), 280 deaths; Budgam reported 22698 positive cases (including 16 cases reported today) with 195 active positive cases, 22299 recovered (including 16 cases recovered today), 204 deaths; Pulwama has 14987 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today) with 150 Active Positive, 14645 recovered (including 26 cases recovered today) and 192 deaths; Kupwara has 13902 positive cases (including 17 cases reported today), 170 Active Positive, 13567 recoveries (including 26 cases recovered today), 165 deaths; Anantnag district has 16191 positive cases (including 13 cases reported today) with 105 Active Positive, 15882 recovered (including 15 cases recovered today), 204 deaths; Bandipora has 9357 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today), with 82 Active Positive, 9175 recoveries (including 19 cases recovered today), 100 deaths; Ganderbal has 9694 positive cases (including 16 cases reported today) with 181 Active Positive, 9436 recoveries (including 10 cases recovered today) and 77 deaths; Kulgam has 11143 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today) with 140 Active Positive, 10887 recoveries (including 19 cases recovered today) and 116 deaths while as Shopian has 5563 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 10 active positive cases, 5495recoveriesand 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 52475 positive cases (including 18 cases reported today) with 416 active positive cases, 50922 recoveries (including 59 cases recovered today), 1137 deaths; Udhampur has 11213 positive cases (including 06 cases recovered today), 60 active positive cases, 11021 recoveries (including 19 cases recovered today) and 132 deaths; Rajouri has 10765 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 92 active positive, 10451 recoveries (including 11 cases recovered today) and 222 deaths; Doda has 6970 positive cases (including 36 cases reported today) with 220 Active positive, 6631 recovered (including 23 cases recovered today) and 119 deaths; Kathua has 9220 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 14 active positive cases, 9057 recoveredand 149 deaths; Samba has 7091 positive cases with 48 active positive cases, 6924 recoveriesand 119 deaths; Kishtwar has 4531 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 110 Active Positive, 4378 recoveries (including 08 cases recovered today) and 43 deaths; Poonch has 6150 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 179 active positive, 5877 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today) and 94 deaths; Ramban has 5881 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 76 active positive cases, 5740 recoveries (including 09 cases recovered today)and 65 deaths while Reasi has 6127 positive cases (with 49 cases reported today) with 294 active positive cases, 5790 recoveries (including 63 cases recovered today) and 43 deaths.
