Srinagar, Jun 21: Upper portion of residential house was gutted in a blaze which broke out this evening in Beerwah locality in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Reports said that a fire broke out in a house belonging to one Mohd Iqbal Sofi son of Abdul Aziz near SAMIE Public School in Beerwah. The raging flames engulfed the upper portion of the two-storeyed house, resulting in its severe damage.

The fire was however later on brought under control by the Fire and Emergency Services men with an active assistance from locals.

No report of loss of life or injury has been reported in the incident.
