Pulwama, April 3 : A cordon and search operation was launched in Karmabad area of Pulwama in South Kashmir on Saturday in a bid to nab militants.

Sources said that a joint team of 55 Rashtriya Rifles, SOG and 182 Battalion of CRPF cordoned off the Karmabad village, following inputs of militant movement in the area.

All entry and exit points of the area has been sealed off and a door-to-door search operation was on. cns
