CRPF Officer sustains bullet injury inside Camp

Chadura, Feb 12: A CRPF officer was wounded after the service rifle he was fiddling with went off inside the camp in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

The incident took place at Nagam Chadura Camp belonging to C-Company 117 Battalion CRPF during the intervening night of February 11 and 12.

Official sources told KNT that the rifle of Assistant Sub Inspector Rajesh Kumar went off and the bullet hit his leg. They said Kumar was shifted to Badamai Bagh based Army hospital for treatment. (KNT)
