Baramulla, Jan 25: A mother of 3 children was found dead under mysterious conditions in Ladoora area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday late evening.

Officials told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the in-laws of the woman said that she died of an electric shock from a boiler late yesterday night, however, the family members of the women contested their claims.

“Soon after her death, the family members of woman reached the in-laws home of their daughter'”  they said.

Officials said that the family members of the deceased woman staged protest demonstration, alleging that their daugther has been murdered by her in-laws.

The protestors demanded transparent probe into the matter.

Meanwhile, medical superintendent District Hospital Baramulla said that they have already followed all the legal proceedings and have initiated a detailed postmortem report.

“Cause of death wasn’t immediately known, however, we are waiting for the forensic Report,” he added

Meanwhile, a senior police official said that they have registered a case under relevant sections of law and the investigation has been taken up to ascertain the facts. (KNS)
