Srinagar, Sep 19 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir administration led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has clarified the announcement made earlier in the day with regard to ‘discount in electricity and water bills’ to consumers in the Union Territory.

Spokesperson to Lieutenant Governer-led administration Rohit Kansal (@RohitKansal69) taking to microblogging site twitter wrote “#J&KIndustrialPackage2020 #ElectrictyandWaterCharges #CLARIFICATION THE 50% discount on Electricity and water CHARGES announced in today’s package is 50% discount on FIXED DEMAND CHARGES for Industrial and Commercial consumers. This is NOT a discount on Electricity Bills (sic.).”
