Indo-Pak armies trade gunfire along LoC in Poonch sector

Poonch, Sep 02: The armies of India and Pakistan on Wednesday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector in Jammu division.

The Army in its official statement said that in Qasba, Kirni and other areas of Poonch sector, Pakistan Army violated ceasefire and resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling on Wednesday evening.

“Pak Army used both small arms and mortars to target the area,” Army said.

“Indian army is retaliating befittingly,” the statement added—(KNO)
