Srinagar, July 14: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today said, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has been instructed to issue International Border (IB) certificate to the youth on the pattern of the Line of Control (LoC), All India Radio reported

In a tweet, the Minister said, Aspirant candidates will not be allowed to suffer any disadvantage on this account.

Earlier, a media report had claimed that thousands of educated unemployed youth residing along the International Border (IB) in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu region have been deprived of the benefits of a reservation granted by the Union Government due to non issuance of necessary notification, AIR reported

The Union Government had accorded the benefit of reservation to the people living on the IB like those living along with Actual Line of Control, amending the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004, it added.
