Srinagar: A Power Development Department (PDD) employee was Thursday afternoon electrocuted in Qalamabad area of Langate in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Identified as Aijaz Ahmad Malla son Sa-ullah Malla a resident of Batagund Mawer, reports said, Aijaz was electrocuted while repairing an electric line at Qalamabad.

Reports said that he was shifted to district hospital Handwara for treatment.
