Srinagar: Unidentified gunmen on Friday afternoon released the couple who was abducted last evening from Arwini village of southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that both, the husband and the wife, have been shot in their legs and have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

“Mudassir Makroo, the husband, has been shot in the right leg and is undergoing treatment at district hospital Anantnag while his wife Nusrat has a bullet injury in her left foot and is being treated at SDH Bijbehara.”
