Bandipora: One person was killed and another suffered injuries after a vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses said that an Alto car bearing registration number JK15-1811 was on way to Bandipora from Bouthu village and slipped into a gorge injuring two persons.

“The injured were shifted to District hospital Bandipora for treatment.”

They said that one among the injured identified as Noor-u-din Reshi son of Ghulam Mohammad Reshi succumbed to injuries while the injured was identified as Khursheed Ahmad Reshi, (22).

Reports quoting a police official said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up.
