Anantnag: Dead body of a civilian has been recovered from the encounter site in Bidoora area of Achabal of Anantnag district Tuesday morning.

An official said the body was recovered with bullet marks. He identified the deceased as Nasir Ahmad, a resident of Achabal who was a tractor driver by profession.

Earlier, a foreign militant and an army officer were killed in a day-long encounter in the area. (KNO)
