Sopore town shuts to mourn killing of local militant

Sopore: A complete shutdown is being observed in Sopore and its adjoining areas against the killing of local militant Ishfaq Mushtaq Sofi.

Reports said that a spontaneous shutdown is being observed in parts of Sopore, Zaingeer belt to mourn the killing of Ishfaq.

Ishfaq was killed in a gunfight with government forces at Amshipura area of Shopain in South Kashmir Friday morning.

All the business establishments are closed in the town while a thin movement of public and private transport is plying on the roads.

Reports said that men and women are visiting the house of the slain militant at Brath villageto offer condolences.
