Srinagar: More than 20 people have suffered injuries during clashes with government forces near the gunfight site in south Kashmir’s Shopian village.

Sources at District Hospital Shopian said that sixteen persons were brought to the health facility in injured conditions.

“Among them three were referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar,” he said. “All the injured had received pellet injuries.”

Sources in Pulwama said that three persons were brought to District Hospital Pulwama among whom two were referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar, one of them with a firearm injury.
