Srinagar: Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geelani has been discharged from SKIMS hospital where he was undergoing treatment after developing some health issues.

Sources close to Geelani said that doctors have discharged him and he left for home.

“He was admitted in the SKIMS following a complaint of abdominal pain,” he said.

Geelani continues to remain under house detention for the last 10 years where a posse of police personnel guard his office cum residence and do not allow him to move beyond his courtyard.
