Srinagar: Two persons have died while 9 others have suffered injuries, three of them critically, after a passenger vehicle on way to Gurez from Bandipora met an accident near Zadkhushi and rolled into a nallah.

Officials said that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01F-6330, met with an accident near Zadkhusi Gurez and rolled into Nallah, leading to death of a minor and a woman on the spot.

“The vehicle was carrying family members including two ladies and five infants in which one infant died and others were referred to hospital for treatment condition.”

The officials identified the two deceased as Naani Begum, 55 and Tabasum Bashir 10.
