No centre for AIIMS PG exam in valley; aspirants urge governor to intervene

Srinagar: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has allotted exam centres for Kashmiri aspirants outside the valley evoking resentment from the aspirants who urged authorities to shift their centres to Kashmir.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences is the exam conducting body of AIIMS PG 2019 entrance examination. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 05.

Reports said that the aspirants complain that they won’t be in a position to travel to Jammu for appearing in the exams and urged the governor administration to intervene and shift centres to Valley.

“We appeal the governor administration to take up the matter with authorities in AIIMS as early as possible,” the students said.
