Srinagar: Clashes broke out in Sopore town of northern Kashmir Thursday following a grenade attack on a CRPF camp that left an SHO and his PSO injured.

Reports said that soon after the attack, youths pelted stones on government forces in main town who retaliated by firing tear gas shells to disperse them.

A police spokesperson said that Stataion House Officer Dangiwacha and his escort personnel were injured in the attack who have shifted to hospital for treatment.
