Srinagar: Amid a fierce gunfight between government forces and militants at Kalantara village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district two civilians have sustained injuries during clashes.

Reports said that the injured persons were rushed to a hospital for treatment and their nature of injuries is being ascertained.

Intense clashes broke out in the village soon after the gunfight ensued.

The youth hit the streets and pelted government forces with stones, who retaliated by firing pellets and tear gas canisters.
